We think it's a superb base for staying in Monterey. The best thing is location - just off the Monterey Bay Aqaurim as well as cannery row and the aquarium

It is an extraordinary hotel with carpeted rooms & accommodating staff. Breathtaking view of lake. The early check-in too. Prime location to a specialized museum.

We liked this staying. The rooms were brand-new and brand-new, the food was REASONABLY PRICED. Pool view was excellent and balcony was great. All in all cool setting.

Lovely romantic room, really cozy, cheery staff. And btw there were wonderful views of the lake! Excellent swimming pool and absolutely perfect location. Also, it was great to be 20 mins walk from fisherman's wharf. Just perfect experience there.

We loved the quiet location, and the caring staff. Our room was newly remodelled and recently renovated, had Wi-Fi, air conditioning and flat-screen television. Solid breakfast, great service. The pool bar was adjoining and the drinks were cool. Within walking distance of the clean beach.

It's relaxing base for visiting some must see attractions in Monterey. Queen room was the best. Just a 15-minute stroll to the center.
